Who I am
Sutton Park Consulting is run by Mark and is based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK. I'm the controller of the personal information described here.
What I collect
If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, organisation (if you give one) and your message. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you send.
Why, and on what basis
I use this information only to read and reply to your enquiry, and to follow up on it if we go on to work together. My lawful basis is legitimate interests: it's necessary for me to respond to people who contact me about my services. I don't use it for marketing and I don't sell it.
Who handles it
I use a website hosting and spam-protection provider, an email delivery provider and an email service provider to run this site and handle enquiries.
These providers process information on my behalf. Some may handle data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for 6 months after our last contact, then delete them. If we work together, I keep records for as long as the work and any legal or accounting requirements need.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, so there is no cookie banner. The spam check on the contact form is a security measure and may use temporary technical storage in your browser while it runs.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how I use it. Email me using the address above. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
